Raffaella Soldi, PhD
Raffaella Solid, VP of Research at Black Canyon Bio, is a seasoned scientist with 30+ years of broad-based research experience in molecular biology, cellular biology, and biochemistry, and eleven years of pharmacology research experience focused on genomics, functional genomics, translational research, biomarker discovery, and pharmacodynamics.
Dr. Soldi is able to interface with preclinical and clinical project teams to ensure appropriate qualification and validation of biomarkers and pharmacodynamic endpoints, and their incorporation into clinical protocols. Soldi led the development of the SNAP technology and the preclinical development of several programs leveraging the technology.
Dr. Soldi's work has significantly advanced targeted therapeutic strategies, including the development of inhibitors for the WNT and LSD1 pathways. Her expertise is further evidenced by her contributions to over fifty peer-reviewed scientific publications and her innovative approach to adoptive cell therapy and personalized vaccines.
